TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  Pay Rate Entry Rate $346.50 daily rate. (12 hour work day) Full Rate $462.00 daily rate. (12 hour work day) Overtime rate of time and a half (1½) is paid over (84) hours in each two (2) week pay period based on a twelve (12) hour work schedule..

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum Qualifications High School diploma /GED 21 years of age or older Valid Driver's License Able to read, write and communicate in English. A citizen of the United States. Be of good character, having no felony convictions, pending indictments, or certain misdemeanor offenses including those involving aggressive or violent behavior (i.e. domestic violence, criminal assault, etc.), disregard for the safety of others, or the misuse of deadly weapons. Must be currently certified under the Missouri Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) having completed a minimum 600 hours from an accredited Basic Training Academy in Missouri or currently certified in Illinois having completed a minimum 400 hours from an accredited Basic Training Academy in Illinois and certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
