The starting salary is $66,081 with a top pay of $94,896 upon completing a five (5) year step increase plan.

The Maplewood Police Department participates in the Missouri LAGERS L-11 (2.5 % under this program to which you are vested after five years of service) retirement fund.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be 21 years of age at the time of employment, have current Missouri POST Class A certification or currently enrolled in a State of Missouri POST approved police academy, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, possess a valid driver’s license, and be a U.S. citizen. The selection process includes oral interviews, writing skill assessment, extensive background investigation, psychological evaluation, a pre-employment physical, and drug screen exams.
