The Maryville Police Department is seeking dedicated and community-focused police officers to serve and protect the citizens of Maryville, a small but dynamic town with approximately 12,000 residents. Starting Pay $23.91/Hour (49,733/Year) with POST Certification
Maximum Pay $32.37/Hour ($67,330/Year)
Lateral transfers eligible for $6,000 recruitment incentive with 3-year contract
Lateral transfer salary based on years of law enforcement experience

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be at least twenty-one years of age at time of appointment with a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid Missouri driver’s license, with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions.
Missouri P.O.S.T. Certification is preferred but not required.
Applicants must pass an oral interview, a complete background investigation, and a pre-employment drug screening and psychological examinations.
Full sponsorship to the Police Academy including salary as a Police Officer Trainee is available.
