Deputy Sheriff/Recruiter
Perform skilled, complicated, and confidential law enforcement work to protect life and property; enforce Federal, State, and local laws; and detect and apprehend violators. Work is accomplished under the direction of a supervisor, within the policy & procedures of the Taney County Sheriff’s Office, but judgement and initiative are frequently exercised.

Starting Pay is $22.28 an hour with an array of benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED preferred
– Must be at least 21 years of age
– 700 hours of basic certification and 24 hours of continuing training annually
– Maintain Missouri P.O.S.T. Police officer certification and adhere to P.O.S.T. training requirements
