Community Resource Officer

The City of Crestwood Missouri is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of police officer. This position requires the officer to work various duty hours. Traditional law enforcement duties include but are not limited to preventive patrol operations, traffic investigation and enforcement, criminal investigations and traditional service-related calls of a peace officer.

Salary

Minimum $58,434 to a maximum of $ 77,911 per year. Lateral salary available based on prior law enforcement experience. Education incentive pay for bachelor or post secondary degrees also provided.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates are required to have a Missouri Class A Peace Officer License or are currently attending a qualified P.O.S.T. certified police academy class scheduled to graduate during this hiring period. Out-of-state officers, federal or military applicants, or officers whose license has expired, must be able to obtain a Missouri Class A license via the Veteran Peace Officer Application prior to appointment. Applicants will be required to participate in an interview process and be able to pass a thorough background examination. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Successful candidates are required to submit to psychological testing and a medical examination.
