Police Officer - City of Raymore

The City of Raymore, Missouri is accepting applications for full-time Police Officer vacancies. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, be POST certified or able to obtain certification in the State of Missouri prior to employment and possess a valid driver’s license without a record of suspension or revocation in any state. Applicants must be able to learn, interpret and apply MO State Statutes, City Ordinances, County and other public policies. Residency within a 35-mile radius of the city is required. A background investigation to include a criminal history check, written exam, oral board interview, polygraph test or equivalent, post-offer drug screen, physical and psychological examination will be conducted. Police officers work 12-hour shifts that currently rotate annually. EOE
