Police Officer - Sedalia Police Department

Job Summary: To enforce local, state and federal laws, while providing police services to the public for the purpose of maintaining public order and safety. TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  Salary: $39,994.00 annually, with potential hiring incentive for current POST Certified..

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; US citizen, 21 year of age or within 6 months; no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, valid driver’s license; and be subject to random drug screen. Must have one of the following: 30 college credit hours, or current POST Certification or enrolled in a Class A 600 hour or higher academy, or Missouri Department of Corrections certification with 2 years’ experience, or minimum 2 years military experience which is either currently active or separation less than 3 years, or a current employee of the City of Sedalia with at least 5 years of experience.
